Again I got to come to and present at Oxonmoot this year. So here are the obligatory reports from the event :)

Let’s start with the overview of the grounds, again at St Anne’s College.

The art room and my artistic creations from there.

The artists’ room

The sellers’ room

One of these rooms also included a diorama of the battle of Helm’s Deep

And this hand-stitched Tree of Amalion flag. It’s maker had also a unique selfmade T-shirt. And another visitor had this lovely bag.

A new fun addition was question hunt "The Cats of Queen Berúthiel". You can try to answer some of these questions along us (unfortunately, you can’t ask the crew questions, unless you know them in person).

A picture from the opening night, my lecture, the quiz (in which we scored but 2 pints short of the team winning the third place), and of me with a few friends.

And two random pictures from walks around the town. A white horse in a green field. And a withered "party tree".

About us

A page for all Tolkien lovers.

We used to run a fan page of the same name on Facebook since 2015 and on Instagram since 2018. Due to the policy changes on those platforms, we decided to move elsewhere. So here we are! You can also find us on MeWe.

The admins are two ladies from Central and South Europe. One of them researches Tolkien’s work academically. So you can expect to find here shared a wide range of contents, from fan art and Tolkienesque crafts, through the professor’s own art and lore, to serious academic insights on his work... anything appreciative of J. R. R. Tolkien’s creation.

Enjoy!
