Willow Moot 2026

This weekend I attended and presented at 2 conferences:

1. in person at Willow Moot, which took place in Leuven, Belgium

2. online at Westmoot, which took place in Kansas

Here are some pictures from Willow Moot.

I’m happy that I finally met in person lots of people, Tolkien fans and scholars, whom I’d already known online.

The event ended in a fun quiz, which was quite challenging. Nonetheless, I still managed to score 44 points, which made me proud of myself.

After that, we all went for a dinner, of which, unfortunately, I don’t have any good picture. Save one taken at the very end by a member of the Leuven Tolkien Society — the Willow Smial — with whose courtesy I repost it here.
